investigate NRPE v3 with certificate authentication

Description

We currently use NRPE v2 which has no authentication and grant access by IP.
In version 3 (not yet part of EPEL) this was improved and certificate auth was implemented:

As we're planning to move the monitoring instance ( ) it would be best to have authentication in place to get rid of IP whitelisting.
