Just isn't worth the effort, the amount of new projects of Gerrit is very low and new projects also being created on GitHub.

From a small brief reading, the permission and the hook sections require an update.
There is a task to update the docs

This job should also enable default Gerrit hooks on the project or allow the person who runs the job to choose which suites he would like to add.
Using https://github.com/Netflix/hubcommander might be useful for automating the sync to oVirt org on GitHub
