Please update the pipeline stage view plugin

Description

We are using a very old version. It is incompatible with the non-deprecated 'stage' syntax that includes a code block.

I've tried the update on the staging server, It also requires updates to the following plugins:

  • bouncycastle API Plugin

  • Pipeline: API

  • Pipeline: REST API Plugin

Indeed, bouncycastle-api is installed manually (i.e. not via puppet) on Staging.
It's actually used by a lot of stuff once installed and as it's a crypto library we better
have it as I see newer versions of some of our plugins will require it later anyway.

Added it to the patch.

I wrote dow the stuff I saw Jenkins pull when I updated via the UI. Not sure how accurate the info in the wiki is. These might have been 2nd or 3rd order dependencies...

Please note the errors the staging Jenkins is showing now

Tested the dependency tree and here's what I found based on the plugin page:
pipeline-stage-view 2.6

  • pipeline-rest-api 2.6

    • workflow-api 2.12

I do not see any dependencies for bouncycastle-api in this plugin or its dependencies. The only dependency with a huge version bump required is pipeline-rest-api, otherwise changes seem pretty minor.
