Here is what I suggest:
1. Send introduction email to infra@ovirt.org and introduce yourself, you can share your experience, which projects are you interested in, how did you find about oVirt and what kind of tasks you'd like to help with.

2. You can search JIRA for 'first_time_task' to find interesting first tasks
