Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: base/7/x86_64

Description

vm deployment in lago fails with:
Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: base/7/x86_64

This is the 3ed time I have seen this and I think we may have network lag that is causing a time out.

can you please take a look?

waiting for @sbonazzo@redhat.com to go through the comments on

https://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/92448/
https://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/92449/

To be short, I fixed most of the packages but ioprocesses and python-ioprocesses have an older package in epel which is failing ost deployment on packages.

Also, we have current packages in epel that are not available from other repos hence when removed we fail deployment.

waiting for sandro to come back as there are packages which he said should be coming from epel but are too old

There are comments on the reposync files.
I am working to solve the comments

failing check-patch on packages on both master and 4.2 patches:

Added two patches to refresh reposync:

please check if this is an issue on open external repos, in that case we should use the new param in the initFile to block it like we did in master:

I see the master one isn't merged yet, so let's make sure to do it for master and verify it works well before enabling 4.2:

This likely means that the system uses upstream mirrorlists directly to try and detect the mirror. We have no control over them - probably the PHX mirror should be defined instead to combat this. where do lago suits download packages from and how can that be changed?

In this case it was lago-basic-suite-4-2-host-0 that failed to find the baseurl.

This looks like a broken repo issue.
Try closing 4.2 to external repos like we did for master.
